What is the reality ? This world is real or is it just a cosmic hologram ?

Do I exist because the world is there? Or does this world exist because I am aware of it? If we say, that we exist because the world is there, that is materialism. If we say, that the world exists because we are aware of it, that is theism. Zen is neither materialism nor theism. Zen is the experience when the world and my mind smash together and burn up. The mind is not creating the sun or the moon, but existence and awareness become one, bringing forth the sun, the moon. The sun that is in our awareness is only on top of our awareness. Yet the world that we experience as actual sensation, that world is inside of our awareness, and exists only there.
