Does long years of training contribute to an understanding of history, economics, politics? Is the world of training separate from this world? Can it contribute to having clarity in this world? Big mistakes have been made in the past.

Humans have the original wisdom and the wisdom of society. To know what is right or wrong, to know the relation between oneself and society, that is the wisdom of society. This wisdom gets developed at the age of three years. We gather knowledge and thus also our self awareness gets created. From there our stance gets clear, from there we go into different areas and keep studying, developing culture and medicine. But the base from where this wisdom of society emerges is the original wisdom. The original wisdom is like a mirror. The form reflected in the mirror is the wisdom of society, while the mirror itself is the original nature. Without the mirror, the wisdom of society cannot work. Understanding, knowledge - all that is the wisdom of society. We sit zazen and when that dualism starts to fade, then the seer and the seen become one. We can see straight, we can hear straight, so we do not get confused by the ideas of society. There is no need for dividing into good and bad, when sad it is sadness, when joyful, it is joy. Having realized one´s original wisdom, we cannot say that simply by that, the wisdom of society disappears. When we become that sadness, we also want to reach out and help. At this point, we cannot get moved around by the wisdom of society, neither be stuck on the original wisdom alone. We need to work with patience on the true development of humanity.
