How to get to that place of spontaneous actions without concern?
February 14, 2013, 10:41 pmDoes "concern" have a negative implication in English? In Japanese "concern" the letter means to share one´s mind with others. That is the meaning of kindness. Yet to worry without a reason, that is of no use and only makes your mind tired. If you have too many concerns, that kind of anxiety is no good. That is why we sit zazen and empty our mind. Yet it is our habit to keep thinking, so we use the breathing, koans to gather our mind into oneness. To not have any unnecessary and extraneous worries and concerns, yet to carry concern for others, that is our practice. A mind without concern, consideration for others, cannot move freely.
