I feel I should be going deeper with my practice by spending more time at a Zen Training Centre but that this would cause me to be negligent of other committments and responsibilities. Do you have any advice on the matter?


Do you have a family, are you alone? The answer depends very much on this. Because if you have a family of your own, then that commitment and responsibility needs to be observed. If you still want to go to a place of training, you need to discuss this with your family very carefully and in details. If you are alone though, what other commitment could be holding you back? Going to a place of training and realizing your true nature, that is the commitment and responsibility we have as human beings. If I say it this far, you understand, right?
