Are there many paths to the realization of our buddha nature? If I studied the pali Canon but also practiced vedanta am I going to be confused or are they pointing at the same thing just communicating it differently? I use vedanta as an example but I feel I have learned valuable things from many religions practices and masters.

What is your goal in life? According to that you should decide what to study. Psychology, Buddhist philosophy, comparative religious studies – there is so much to study !

If you truly want to realize your true self and awaken to your real self, all this knowledge will stand in your way. Your true self is only to be found beyond all knowledge. And once you have realized your true self you will know that this wisdom realized is that which includes all. All the other paths were brought forth by this true mind.
