How does one deal with getting stuck or fixated with an emotion? Like getting irritable over anothers small habits or keeping thinking on the same difficult situation.
November 27, 2011, 4:54 pmOur feelings keep being pulled around by people outside, yet there is no end to this. We sit Zazen in order to practice not being moved around by outer circumstances and people. But Zazen is not only the sitting practice. Being filled with the energy of heaven and earth, to experience that for oneself is our practice. As this practice and concentration becomes riper, whatever comes up, we do not get moved around the slightest.
