What is the path beyond the Mind to the Not self?

You question about the beyond the mind to the not self is not clear.
Since birth we have gathered data and knowledge which is necessary for our daily life. This development continues until age 3, and our character has been formed, which we also call ego. This ego did not exist before we started to gather information and experiences. The ego is a gthering of information, a shadow created by ourselves. Through our seeing, hearing, smelling, tasting, sensing we have been gathering these information. Yet these sense organs are just a tool, our ability to see with our eyes, to hear with our ears, to smell with our nose, to taste with our mouth, to sense with our body, and to think with our consciousness. We use these windows and using our past memories and gathered knowledge, we make decisiouns. When we are 16 months of age we understand 1, with 32 months of age we understand 2, yet our originla mind is zero. Zero is before our consciousness, yet is the source of all awareness. When we do zazen and our mind become purified, we can return to this place of zero, to the place before consciousness, yet to think there is a path to reach there, that does not work.
