I am a former US Marine. I fought in Iraq three times. During one 2hour long gunfight with the enemy I felt suddenly awake in a way I had never experienced before. Life was suddenly real and there was nothing outside the moment. The real moment. Does any of that make sense?
August 13, 2012, 5:20 amThat is exactly how it is. In that merciless war situation all shadows disappeared. A very important experience. But knowing that there is only THIS moment, what do you do with that? To understand this moment means to understand eternity. This life energy expressing itself right now is to understand that you are ONE with all. And that hand that was holding the weapon, what will you let it hold next? If you have clarified that for yourself, then for the first time will that experience bring forth true meaning for you.
