There is no need to understand anything...

< Back to Question and Answer

I often hear in the Buddhist teaching that the world is created by the mind and where it comes from the mind?

What do you want to do by dividing mind and world? Are you outside of the world? Are you peeking into this world from outside? If you continue like that, you will simply stay in delusion. Is there any understanding by saying that the mind brings forth this world? You see the mountains, now, or do you think: am I bringing forth these mountains? That is the world of your thoughts alone. Of dualism. It is not being fresh and alive. If not right here with the mountains, where should your mind be?
