Dear RoshiIt is often mentioned in your answers 'working creatively'. What is it like? Thank you

The term working creatively KUFU comes from the stonemason work. When you want to cut something out of a stone, you need to see the lines clearly or else the stone will break in a strange way. To be able to see these inner lines of the stone is called KUFU. You need to learn from someone with experience where these lines are to be found and how they penetrate the stone. The same is true for zazen, when we are working with our mind which has no form. You need to be able to perceive the inner essence of your mind or else it is not real practice of zazen.
