Does a dead dog have Buddha nature?

Among questions, there are questions with essence and other that are of no meaning. If your dear dog would be seen as dead by you, you had only perceived him as being a moving thing. If you really had loved him, your love for him would still be alive in your heart. All existence in this universe is Buddha Nature. Buddha Nature cannot be understood with your intellect. If you say that even things which you do not love have Buddha Nature, it would be an intellectual perception. The Buddha detested intellectual ideas without any true essence.
