Is it correct that to practice Zen is basically to build a habit of not believing and not following our thoughts? Because when we don't listen to our thoughts there is nothing else to deal with than the present situation. Is this view correct?
May 20, 2015, 9:00 amZen does not create this kind of form. Zen is not not thinking. Unnecessary thought that bring about confusion are let go of - that is zen. To not let your mind be moved by extraneous noise. A mind without concentration is not zen. Zen moves along with the need, able to face all kinds of situation in this world, being aware of the pain in society, noticing problems in the world - awareness is always alert. The concentration of zen reaches 360 degrees. Please in your zazen let go of anything extraneous. Your own experience will teach you.
