I read and think a lot about Zen and Buddhism and it makes a lot of sense to integrate Zen practice in my life. I want to do practice but for some reason even the smallest excuse possible is enough for me not to do zazen. This makes no sense to me. I want to but I resist. What can I do?

Maybe the image you have about zazen is that which is obstructing you? There are many who experience understanding and self realization as separate. There are also many who feel uncomfortable when they make themselves take a certain form and posture. That idea about zazen needs to be let go of for your true practice to develop.
