The more ego pieces are broken away in the process of training the less wishes are left in me. It is hard to live as before when you are not driven by things as before. Now I feel that also my current motivation to practice comes from the ego. How do I pass this phase and continue to practice?

Well, who is it that decides that your motivation for practice is coming from ego? Is training for your self satisfaction? If trainig were for your self satisfaction, when it doesn´t go well with your training, then you would stop, right? That is not called training. If you experience yourself as ego and as path, then these two are always separated and you will for sure come to a dead end. Like throwing a stone into the sky, it fly us as long as it has motion power, but then it will come straight down again. Training is about giving up your ego to the Dharma. Awaken to the Dharma ! Sentient beings, are numberless, I vow to liberate them. Desires are inexhaustible, I vow to put an end to them. The Dharmas are boundless. I vow to master them. The Buddha´s way is unsurpassable, I vow to become it.
