Which brings us into deeper mind Sussokan or Koan practice?


It really depends on the person´s essence. If you can follow the sussokan without leaving the slightest mind ga, it is possible to enter into a continuous deep state of mind. Forgetting body and surroundings, inside and outside. Can you do that? Also when using a koan, you need to be it, forgetting your body and surroundings, inside and outside melting into one experience, or else the value of the koan does not appear. Can you do that? If there is any understanding mixed into your sitting, it is of no meaning.
