Water Basin

Ware tada taru wo shiru

I only know what is enough

A famous saying carved in a Tsukubai, a water basin used in Japanese gardens. These words also being a theme of the tea ceremony, they are often found at the entrance to a tea house. A reminder as to what values matter in our life. These words express that we can find contentment in just what we are and have at this very moment.

Due to Roshi's busy schedule this year, we are currently not accepting any new questions at this time
