Sutra teaching

Harada Roshi gave us a class on how to use the instruments in a Zen monastery correctly, as well as pointers on how to move, bow, act in a Zendo. This series of teachings will be added to our youtube chanel over time, but to start off we have the Roshi playing the Hannya Shingyo with bells and mokugyo. He explains: The mokugyo should be played like a train, slowly yet constantly increasing in speed so as to gather more and more energy. The end of the sutra is played in a way as if the train enters a station, slowing down and coming to a halt.

Due to Roshi's busy schedule this year, we are currently not accepting any new questions at this time
