Seiki's offering is made everyday fresh to the left of our Honzon in the main Hondo of Sogenji. The offering is carefully placed in three plates. Freshly made rice or Okayu, tsukemono, and miso. Roshi asked daily tenzo everyday until everybody got it that this is to be done everyday for the 49 days.
Roshi also mentioned how Seikin chose to die as syugyosha everyday during his new year greetings, both to sangha and to the public such as Bishamon gathering. How much and how deeply he feels for this experience was felt through these days.
