New group continues

The second weekly Wednesday Community Sit on Whidbey Island USA went well. Gentai and I were there along with 7 other women who came seeking a still period of time in their lives. A moment of breathing out of time. We had a quiet free-form sit for one hour, did some gentle movements for about 10 minutes, and had tea and talked for about 20 minutes. Gentai bought a japanese hot pot for the weekly sit and some tea. The topic was "why do you sit?" Reasons people gave for sitting were: "to slow down, balance out in my life, relieve tension, be calmer, see God, feel connected to God, originally I sat to be less tense but now to feel connected to my true self,  to connect the dots". People had interesting things to say. It was gentle and relaxing, I am looking forward to next week.

Due to Roshi's busy schedule this year, we are currently not accepting any new questions at this time
