Jukai and Sesshin ending

Roshi´s arrival in Hokuozan and approving of the red bridge

On the last day of the Osesshin in Hokuozan Sogenji, a lay ceremony took place. Imre from ODZ Hungary received the name Issei Koji, meaning "That´s purity". Gunta from ODZ Riga Latvia received the name KoDo Daishi, meaning "Wide Path". Rita from Vilnius, Lithunia received the name RiSetsu Daishi meaning "Apricot blossom snow".

The teisho on the Rinzai Roku part 12-13 was finished with the following poem

Right here the one of no robe, that is the true path
Not stopping at ideas about Buddhas – always pure and new
Now coming to the end of sesshin
there is nothing to search anymore
Exactly as is, all life – the person with nothing to do

And here the memorial picture of 68 sangha members !

Due to Roshi's busy schedule this year, we are currently not accepting any new questions at this time
