In Commemoration of Seiki

In Sogenji Japan, Seiki Dina Kandrovica Daishi from Latvia passed away on the 29th of December, being cared for by the sangha during 5 months of her sickness with cancer. The Roshi supporting her by daily sanzens at her bedside. The funeral ceremony was on the 30th of December. After the ceremony the sangha ate cookies and drank tea in the same room where Seiki´s body is and requiem zazen at night is also in her presence.

Roshi giving her the posthumous Buddhist name: TenShin - True Heavens.

Tenshin Seiki Daishi´s name was added to the daily choka Moso Eko and will be read from now on daily.
