Poem in Celebration of the Birth of Shakyamuni Buddha

The peach flower is red, the apricot flower white - hundred flowers in spring
All living things rejoice together at this pure birth
In the Gokoku mountain the training vow is refreshed
In deep gratitude for the Dharma, heavenly truth is opened

After the Birthday Ceremony, a Jukai ceremony was held for Peter from Hungary, who received the name Sokyu Koji, meaning "Resting in Religion" and for Judith from the US, who received the name Junsei Daishi, meaning "Clear Purity".
