If we want to make this world into a harmonious world, we are still staying within a dualistic awareness. Wanting to build a Buddha land, working for some kind of revolution, ignoring the facts of reality thus adding only fuel to the discriminating and dualistic mind. From the Zen point of view this is not correct.
The Buddha was giving his teachings according to the kind of sickness the student had. If there is no sickness, no medicine is needed. If people are not confused, no need for Buddhism. And when the sickness is resolved, nothing remains, no Buddhism, no dharma.
