Do you think the bones (Shari) of the Buddha are of great importance?

It cannot be said that they are not important. Yet the Buddha himself said clearly: "Those who cut the sleeves of their robes, who carry weight in my name, who give offerings to me - it cannot be said that those people respect me. Yet someone who has understood the Dharma will all life be right by my side." He said as well: "Be your own light, be your own place of refuge, take the Dharma as your light, take the Dharma as your place of refuge, do not search for anything outside as being a place of refuge." That is how he taught us clearly.
