The shidare sakura is getting special fertiliser put close to its roots, new wooden supports as well as posts, that spot people from walking close to the tree´s trunk. It is said that sakura trees do not like to have their roots walked on, so in this way hopefully the shidare sakura in Sogenji will regain strength again.
