During the samu sesshin we had a Jukai lay ordination ceremony for Egle and Jorige from Lithuania. Egle Daishi received the name JakuCho meaning "quietly serene" and Jorige Daishi receiving the name EGen meaning the "eye of wisdom".

On the last day we also had a baby blessing ceremony for the yet unborn daughter of Seigen and Paulina from Poland. It was the first time that Harada Roshi gave a blessing ceremony to an unborn baby. Veronica received the name SeiGyoku - "pure crystal".
