The sesshin in Hokuozan is going on at this very moment, 68 people from all over Europe have gathered. We are very lucky that the weather is quite cool, very good for sitting. The teisho being on cases of the Blue Cliff record, here the opening poem:

The golden wind in Northern Europe
all growing plentiful
Everyone has gathered with deep devotion for training
The three pound of hemp Buddha
does not change in past or present
Forgetting all in sitting - mysterious eye realized
