Every year Tea master Nakamoto Hiroyo of the Ueda Ryu tea school of Hiroshima performs a traditional kenchashiki tea ceremony in memory of the nuclear bomb dropped on Hiroshima on the 6th of August.

Every year Tea master Nakamoto Hiroyo of the Ueda Ryu tea school of Hiroshima performs a traditional kenchashiki tea ceremony in memory of the nuclear bomb dropped on Hiroshima on the 6th of August.
Shogen Daishi of ODZ Tokyo received the macha tea and gave the offerings to the mayor of Hannover, Germany, sister city of Hiroshima, who placed it on the altar.
