Since last year, the Roshi invited lay community to join for the autumn equinox celebration in Sogenji monastery. It is a ceremony expressing thanks to the received grace from nature - comparable with the Western harvest festivals. He suggested to also gather on the 23rd of September in thankfulness for what we have received.
