Today was the five year anniversary of Hokuozan Sogenji. It was a day filled with close to two hundred visitors, who participated in hourly zazen instructions let by Frank Koji and half hourly sushi instruction led by Nati from Hamburg. This day again showed clearly how needed Hokuozan is, able to offer a space of silence and looking within. It was a busy day yet it opened so many possibilities for future connections and practice. Thanks to everyone who has been putting their good energy into Hokuozan and their practice.
