During zazen I can hardly keep the look low. What would you recommend?

During zazen we look about 1 meter in front of us on the floor, since this is the view which settles us the most, when we can look 50% outside and 50% inside. This is the best way to practice sine we also want to be able to move from our settled state of mind when we have to work in daily life. When we look straight ahead, we perceive too much of the outer world, and thus it is more difficult to enter samadhi. It does help though especially when tired to look straight ahead, and when you can keep your inner eye on your tanden at the same time, you should also be able to concentrate well and sit good zazen.
